TRITON Mono Specification & Options

  • Product Specification

TRITON Mono canopies are manufactured in standard bay sizes to maximise efficiency in design and production, resulting in a very cost-effective solution. Where bespoke sizes and forms are required, sites are surveyed and modelled prior to detailed design being undertaken, and the structure designed to the specific brief.

    Canopy Form

The standard TRITON Mono has a single shallow pitch, but this can be adjusted as a bespoke design to fit with adjacent buildings.

    Canopy Support

As well as the standard freestanding design, TRITON canopies are available as either cantilevered structures or wall mounted, providing the wall meets the appropriate structural requirements.

    Canopy Width

Standard bay widths are 2m, 3m and 4m, but any width from 1m to 6m as clearspan structures can be achieved as bespoke design. Wider spans can be achieved using intermediate columns.

    Canopy Length

There is no limit on the length of TRITON canopies. Standard bay lengths are 3.0m and 4.0m with variations within the structural design achievable to avoid doorways, access routes or underground services.

  • Roof Type

While multiwall polycarbonate is the most popular choice of roof cladding for TRITON canopies, other roof types such as glass or steel can be accommodated as a bespoke design.

    Multiwall Polycarbonate

Our most popular roof cladding in the TRITON range, offering a good balance of light transmission and minimal glare. Optional coloured polycarbonate can be specified.

    Toughened & Laminated Glass

The premium alternative to polycarbonate utilising an aluminium glazing bar system. All roof glazing panels are toughened and laminated with optional interlayer tints for shading.

    Profiled Steel Sheet

Profiled steel roof cladding is available in a range of standard top coat colours with white underside.

    Biodiverse Green Roof

Biodiverse green roof specifications are available as sedum only or sedum and wildflower. The lightweight system has a steel decking liner, EPDM membrane liner, composite drainage reservoir mat, growing substrate and a pre-planted vegetation mat.
  • Frame Finishes

Highly durable polyester powder coatings are applied as the standard finish on steel frame TRITON canopies with colours selected from a basic range or from the RAL colour selector. Steelwork is cold grit-blasted to SA2.5, with a zinc coating and anti-corrosive primer, followed by the high gloss polyester colour powder coat finish. Alternatively, hot-dip galvanised coatings can be specified for the harshest environments where a decorative finish is not required. The colours and finishes depicted on this website are representations and should not be taken as accurate.

    IR Heaters

External grade radiant electric heaters can be fitted to TRITON canopies to provide warmth to users in colder weather.

    Timber Post Cappings

Adding timber post cappings can help soften the appearance of a steel frame structure.

Foam protector pads with heavy duty PVC covers can be fitted to canopy posts for structures situated in play areas.

    Rainwater Systems – Guttering

TRITON canopies are designed with integral steel guttering, colour powder coated to match the canopy steel frame for long term durability and ease of maintenance.
