Asymmetric Polycarbonate Canopies

TRITON Maxx-A

For canopies situated alongside buildings, the TRITON Maxx-A with its asymmetric curved roof profile blends seamlessly with the existing architecture. With the potential to powder coat the steelwork to any RAL colour, the canopy can be matched to the adjoining buildings to facilitate fully integrated design. Rainwater flows into guttering to the front edge of the canopy for ease of maintenance.

TRITON canopies are based around a modular design theme, providing a consistent aesthetic and efficient cost structure with the flexibility for specific site requirements and constraints. All of our TRITON canopies are designed and manufactured in accordance with BS EN 1090 EXC 2 accreditation, offering outstanding durability from an all-steel frame with polyester powder coat finish, multiwall polycarbonate roof panels, aluminium glazing system and galvanised steel rainwater goods.

The standard roof specification is the advanced multiwall polycarbonate providing a bright atmosphere without glare, with our proven aluminium glazing system ensuring a reliable and easy to maintain roof cover for the long term. The 25-year structure and 15-year roof covering warranties provide long term peace of mind, with aftercare packages available for periodic inspection and cleaning.

TRITON delivers cost-effective covered space and walkways for use in all weathers, that can be further enhanced with glass or polycarbonate vertical cladding for more exposed locations. See Enclosed Canopies for more information.

TRITON Maxx-A Specification & Options

  • Product Specification

TRITON canopies are available with a number of different forms and support options. Projects are surveyed and modelled prior to detailed design commencement, incorporating existing levels, service cover locations and adjacent door and window positions.

    Canopy Form

With each structure being individually designed, the radius of the TRITON Maxx-A can be adjusted as required to fit with adjacent buildings.

    Canopy Support

As well as the standard freestanding design, TRITON canopies are available as either cantilevered structures or wall mounted, providing the wall meets the appropriate structural requirements.

    Canopy Width

TRITON Maxx canopies can be constructed in widths from 1m to 15m as clearspan structures. Wider spans can be achieved using intermediate columns.

    Canopy Length

Standard post centres are between 3.5m and 5.5m with variations within the structural design achievable to avoid doorways, access routes or underground services.
  • Roof Type

While multiwall polycarbonate is the most popular choice of roof cladding for TRITON canopies, other roof types such as glass or steel can be accommodated as bespoke design.

    Multiwall Polycarbonate

Our most popular roof cladding in the TRITON range, offering a good balance of light transmission and minimal glare. Available in colours if required.

    Clear Solid Polycarbonate

A cost effective and lighter weight alternative to glass that is significantly more resistant to impact damage.

    Profiled Steel Sheet

Profiled steel roof cladding is available in a range of standard top coat colours with white underside.
  • Frame Finishes

Highly durable polyester powder coatings are applied as the standard finish on steel frame TRITON canopies with colours selected from a basic range or from the RAL colour selector. Steelwork is cold grit-blasted to SA2.5, with a zinc coating and anti-corrosive primer, followed by the high gloss polyester colour powder coat finish. Alternatively, hot-dip galvanised coatings can be specified for the harshest environments where a decorative finish is not required. The colours and finishes depicted on this website are representations and should not be taken as accurate.
