Enclosing wheeled bin containers and controlling user access, metroSTOR PBM Bin Housings are well established as the tough, versatile bin storage solution with over 10,000 units currently in operation. metroSTOR PBM effectively increases recycling rates, while reducing fire risk and side waste issues.
Design configurable for bin container size, access door location, access control type and recyclable type bin loading aperture, metroSTOR PBM Bin Storage Housings consolidate waste stream containers in a row of neat units, secured at a safe distance from dwellings. Reduced fire risk is central to metroSTOR PBM design and where Bin Housing units cannot be located outside of the six metre recommended distance due to site constraints, the units can be specified with fire-resistant wall and roof cladding options. The metroSTOR PBM steel frame is hot-dip galvanised as standard with colour powder coated finishes available. External panel specifications are available clad in timber or steel with optional colour schemes that enable outdoor storage units to be coordinated with architectural building fabric design.
Laser-cut steel panels with bespoke hole pattern designs can be specific to add visual interest and option green roof specification are available as sedum only or sedum and wildflower. The lightweight green roof system has a steel decking liner, EPDM membrane liner, composite drainage reservoir mat, growing substrate and a pre-planted vegetation mat.
In standard configuration metroSTOR PBM Bin Housings accommodate 4 wheeled bin containers from 660L to 1280L capacity stored in the open position. All units are fitted with adjustable spacer bars to ensure that all waste container varieties are filled at the front of the unit. Internal deflector plates can be fitted as an option to ensure all deposited waste is contained in the bins.
