Wallington Public Hall was built in 1934 and originally used as a cinema. With its art deco features it became the perfect venue for musical theatre and concerts, and in its heyday boasted big names such as The Who, David Bowie and the Rolling Stones. Over the years it became outdated and in need of refurbishment, eventually closing its doors for the final time in 2015. Read more.
